Claire Hennessy, aka, Xue Li (李雪), is a scholar, writer and translator. She was full-time lecturer of English at Dalian University of Technology in China from 2006 to 2013 and the Fulbright Mandarin lecturer at California State University San Bernardino in the U.S. from 2011 to 2012. Claire dropped her doctoral program of comparative literature from University of Southern California in 2019 to run her own literature project. Her research specialties include a comparative study of Chinese and European narratologies, dewesternizing translation theories, desire and the self (psychoanalysis), and philosophical ethics. Claire's works have been published in Boundary 2, among other major literary journals. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
