Claire Hennessy is a scholar, writer and translator. She was full-time lecturer of English at Dalian University of Technology in China from 2006 to 2013 and Fulbright lecturer of Chinese at California State University San Bernardino from 2011-2012. Claire dropped her doctoral program in comparative literature from University of Southern California to run her own literature project. Her research specialties include International modernism, the novel, Chinese narratology, translation theory, desire and the self (psychoanalysis), and ethics. Claire's works have been published in Boundary 2, among other major literary journals. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
