Claire L. Hennessy is a scholar, writer and translator. She was full-time lecturer of English at Dalian University of Technology in China from 2006 to 2013 and Fulbright lecturer of Chinese at California State University San Bernardino from 2011-2012. Claire pursued her doctoral study in modernism and the Novel in department of English at Claremont Graduate University in 2013. After transferring to comparative literature at University of Southern California in 2017, she studied translation theory and Francophone postcolonialism. Since the pandemic, her current research has been focusing on Marxism in the global context and psychoanalysis. Her works have been published in Boundary 2, among other major literary journals.  Curriculum Vitae (CV)
